This month’s Employee Spotlight is on Cheryl Hamlyn, the Senior Administrator at our Cheshire office.
Describe Your Role at Connect:
I started my journey at Connect as an ops administrator and advanced to take on the role of senior administrator. Within my role I support the CEO and Chief Operations, and manage projects to further develop the business.
What is your favorite part of working at Connect?
What I really value about working at Connect is the culture and work environment. There’s always great team spirit and management are fully supportive and keen to help you develop your skills. They really give you opportunities to grow and see your potential. I was able to progress into a more senior role through mentoring and coaching. I also enjoy how varied my work is as everyday brings something interesting and dynamic.
What Has Been Your Greatest Accomplishment So far in 2019?
In short time that I was ops administrator, I was able to show my capabilities and progress into a more senior role with more responsibility.
What’s a Fun Fact About Yourself?
I’m a Scout Leader! I give children opportunities to experience a vast range of interesting outdoor and community-based activities. I love the satisfaction of seeing their achievements and my favorite activities so far have been building wildlife habitats and learning about forensic science!
